Let's first define what mental health is.
Mental health refers to a person's emotional, psychological, and social well-being, encompassing their ability to handle stress, relate to others, make choices, and function effectively in daily life.
My Mental Health has been a big improvement that I have tried to focus on more recently. For me, it is taking a break whenever I am under stress or depleted of any energy. Focusing on the mental aspect of my life is the most important part of my life. It allows me to undergo various tough conditions, whether that be school or life in general.
Recently, I have taken on Yoga as a reliever of my stress. Yoga(and meditation in general) is a period of time in which you are free from your stressors and reminds you that you will be okay in the end. I personally do Yoga in the mornings to prepare myself for the tedious day ahead and to free myself of any obligations I might have for at least 30 minutes(don't we love that).
Mental Health is everything to me. Without strong Mental Health, you cannot undergo arduous tasks throughout that day, and it will be more difficult to learn things in School and in Life in general.
Thankfully, great Mental Health is something that is achievable through good practices. It can be a catalyst to a new beginning, a new chapter in your life. Even if you don't immediately see progress, just know that it takes time.
Overall, Mental Health and awareness for the subject matter is something that I have educated myself on, and I feel you should too. It can be a start to something beautiful down the road. Don't worry if you don't see progress at first, it is normal and you will get better as time goes on. And just remember, you're never alone :).
